ScribeFireScribefire has been on my radar for years as a tool for authoring blog posts. I tried it once, but never really got the hang of things. Recently they put out a rewrite that works with Safari and Google Chrome (a browser I am using for the first time this month). What the browser extension does is give you a consistent interface for blogging across all your blogs. Now that I am doing some guest blogging for clients, as well as running three of my own, giving it another shot seemed like a no-brainer.

So, I wrote this blog post with ScribeFire. The only thing it couldn’t do for me is upload the image to WordPress. Little disappointed by that, but I know that is a limitation of WordPress and the API as it is this tool.

Got to tell you that I am so impressed. I really think this will come in handing for some of the .NET based blogging engines I work on from time to time. Here is a list of all the platforms Scribe Fire works on: http://www.scribefire.com/help/supported-services/ It also supports the MetaWeblog API by Dave Winer that has been around for years and years. If I have any more reflections then I will post them as comments here, but so far I am really love ScribeFire.
